Valiant Entertainment proudly released a beautiful image and information for the PUNK MAMBO #1 variant cover. Adding to the unique experience, fans who purchase the comic will be treated to a unique tactile experience.  

Per Valiant Senior Editorial Director Robert Meyers, “We were brainstorming ideas for a variant on PUNK MAMBO #1, and the idea for the flocked cover hit me like a bolt of pink lightning.  We’d been tossing around ideas like a leather jacket cover, or a having Flexi-disc bound in, and it came to me: SHE NEEDS FUZZY HAIR.”

The art for the variant is by Dan Brereton (NOCTURNALS).  The series is written by Cullen Bunn (VENOM) and artist Adam Gorham (BLACK PANTHER) and is the first ongoing series for the titular character, a London-born voodoo priestess who becomes a mystical mercenary for hire in the Louisiana Bayou.  

PUNK MAMBO #1, and all its variants, arrives Wednesday, April 24th.  Ask your favorite comic shop to add it to your bin.
